We are many.
We may have started as a handful of Irish cousins, but today, Glackins can be found coast to coast—and a few time zones beyond. Our reunions have welcomed family from across the United States, Canada, and even the occasional jet-lagged visitor straight from Ireland itself. And while not everyone shares the Glackin name anymore (eight generations will do that!), everyone who’s part of the family—by blood, by marriage, or by good luck—is welcome here. We don’t all know exactly how we're related (yet!), but we know this: if you show up with a smile, a story, or a side dish, you're one of us.
We are proud.
Since 1930, we’ve gathered each year to celebrate our shared history—and to make a little more of it while we’re at it. We’ve passed down family stories, hosted talent shows, swapped recipes, and tried (with varying success) to remember all the names in the group photo. Our website is just one more way we’re keeping that tradition going—connecting cousins, preserving memories, and finding new ways to celebrate being a Glackin.
We are in progress.
Our family tree is still growing. Our records are still being sorted. And our stories? They’re still unfolding, one laugh and one reunion at a time. Whether you’ve been coming since you were in diapers or you just discovered us through a DNA test and a hunch, you belong here.
We are Glackins.
Pull up a chair, grab a plate, and join the celebration. There’s always room at the table.
